Say hello to Darwin. He's a two year old Australian cattle dog/ heeler mix. Weighing in at about 40 pounds and a medium to tall boy.
Very curious and playful, Darwin is full of energy. His curiosity can get him in trouble, as he loves to counter surf. His playful side, whether self-entertaining or engaging with other dogs, he's a happy boy.
Darwin does need to build his trust with his environment and people. In the time he's been in rescue, he's learned to trust his people and has become more obedient to giving things up.
For a big boy, he still tries to be a lap dog.
Crate trained and house trained, Darwin just needs leadership and a strong guidance.
Darwin would not be good with small children.
Who's ready to have this big guy join their family?
Jessie is a tall 50 pound walker hound, who just turned 1 years old. He's a fun loving goofy boy that enjoys run and playing with other dogs or entertaining himself. A very strong and smart boy. At his age, Jessie could use some training on his manners. He loves to explore and that includes counter surfing. A home with dog savvy family members would help curb this behavior.
Even though he's a big boy, he still tries to be a lap dog, but more for attention and affection than anything else.
If you've got a large fenced yard that needs a hound to explore it, Jessie is your boy.
